When it comes to shooting, battery life shouldn't be a limitation. With this vertical grip, that's no longer an issue, as it allows you to store two additional NP-W235 rechargeable batteries (optional). This equates to approximately 1850 images between charges.
 The grip options are also more numerous, with more easily accessible controls. You have a second shutter release, a focus lever, AE-L and AF-ON buttons, Q and Fn buttons, and front and rear control dials all within easy reach. You can also enhance performance with a toggle switch for Eco, Normal, and Boost modes. Expect robust weather resistance, just like the X-H2S itself.
