Retaining a popular design and compact size, the X100VI features the new 40.2-megapixel X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR sensor and the fast X-Processor 5 for high image quality and compelling performance. Furthermore, the all-new in-body image stabilization with up to 6.0 stops is included for the first time in an X100 series product, all while maintaining the series' compact size and light weight. This allows you to work in a wide variety of environments and situations. The X100VI features the back-illuminated X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR sensor with approximately 40.2 megapixels. The sensor has an impressive pixel structure that allows it to efficiently capture more light than any previous camera in the X100 series. In addition, ISO 125 sensitivity is now standard on the X100VI. Paired with the 23mm f/2.0 lens, the X100VI delivers ultra-sharp, high-resolution images. The X100VI offers 20 film simulation modes, including the new "REALA ACE" mode, to give images a wide range of distinctive hues. "REALA ACE" mode provides true-to-life color reproduction and high-contrast tones, making it suitable for all subjects and situations. The X100VI incorporates an impressive autofocus prediction algorithm for reliable focusing, even when shooting continuously moving subjects. The X100VI utilizes the X-Processor 5's subject-detection autofocus to accurately track a wide range of subjects. Built with AI deep learning technology, this autofocus system detects animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones. As an added bonus, the subject detection setting must be set to "Bird" to detect insects and to "Airplane" to detect drones. The X100VI is the first camera in the X100 series to feature in-body 5-axis image stabilization, offering up to 6.0 stops of compensation. This new system results in only a slight increase in weight and size compared to previous X100 series models. The "Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder" allows the user to freely switch between the optical viewfinder (OVF) and the electronic viewfinder (EVF). The electronic viewfinder features a high-resolution OLED panel with approximately 3.69 million dots. The Electronic Range Finder (ERF) function allows for the simultaneous display of a small viewfinder on the OVF, enabling the photographer to capture the subject in the OVF and enlarge the focus area in the small viewfinder. The ERF function is very useful for snapshot photography, etc. As with the X100V model, the top and bottom of the X100VI's body are made of aluminum, resulting in a high-quality look. The X100VI's ultra-thin tilting LCD screen can be stored completely flat, a design feature carried over from the X100V. The integrated and elegant body design allows for various shooting styles, from the highest to the lowest angles. The X100VI's high touch response and intuitive operation make it both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing. The grip shape has been optimized for optimal comfort. The position of the buttons on the back of the X100VI camera has been moved so that they are easy to use with the right hand, making shooting extremely comfortable while looking through the viewfinder.
